All Your Base Are Belong To Us 1991 Vintage Kid’s T-Shirt

“All your base are belong to us” was a popular Iinternet meme based on a broken English phrase found in the opening cutscene of the European release of the 1992 Mega Drive/Genesis port of the 1989 arcade video game Zero Wing, which is subtitled and poorly translated. The meme developed from this in the early 2000s, as the result of a GIF animation depicting the opening text, which was initially popularized on the Something Awful message forums. The dialogue is attributed to CATS, the main antagonist and final boss of the game. CATS is an alien overlord who seeks to conquer our world and although the United Nations initially signed a peace treaty to prevent him from attacking Earth, he breaks the treaty and takes over all of Japan’s space colonies, sending a holographic message to their captain, mocking him for trusting him… “all your base are belong to us.”

Not sure what size is your best fit? We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size.
